Buraco das Cabras

Buraco das Cabras is on the Mar de Fora, the side of the archipelago that faces the open Atlantic. The PADI listing calls it one of the best dive sites of the island and gives a maximum depth of 16 m, in line with the 15 m and 16 m on the local dive maps. PADI classes it as a drift and reef dive through a channel. Sharks, dolphins, turtles and whales are among the reported sightings. The site lies in the Marine National Park.
