Cabritos
Cabritos lies behind Ilha do Meio in the chain of islets north-east of the main island, inside the Marine National Park. The dive begins in the clear water of the outer sea and continues into the channel between the islets. The bottom is a volcanic formation of mushroom-shaped rocks covered in colourful sponges that shelter many fish. Black jack, horse-eye jack, doctorfish and yellow goatfish are among the reported fish, and a large old anchor lies on the site.
