SS Lusitania

The 5,557 ton twin-screw liner was built in 1906 and was on a voyage from Lourenco Marques when it was lost. The reef slopes down from Bellows Rock and then drops almost vertically from about 15 m to 33 m, with the wreckage spread between the wall and boulders further east. The site is very exposed, has strong surge near the surface and can only be dived in near-perfect conditions. Invertebrates and large fish are found on and around the wreck. It is only suitable for very experienced divers.
