Sakieda Big Arch
Also known as: 崎枝ビッグアーチ (Japanese) · Big Arch (Sakieda area)
Divers swim through the arch entrance at around 12 m into a large open space where sunlight pours through cracks in the ceiling, an effect local guides call a shower of light. Cardinalfish fill the chamber and glitter in the light, and lobsters hide in the recesses of the cave. Around 25 m a large school of damselfish gathers, and nudibranchs live in the rubble. The site has little current and draws many boats in summer.
