Punta Maravilla
Also known as: Maravilla · Punta Marravilla
Lava that cooled in the sea formed step-like basalt tiers here, with undercuts and overhangs above a bright sand floor. The route follows the border between rock and sand, where rays, butterfly rays and seasonal angel sharks pass. A compact cave with two openings shelters lobsters and large trumpetfish, and with luck a marbled electric ray. Shrimps, small crabs, anemones and nudibranchs fill the cracks. Its sheltered water also makes it a snorkelling and training site.
