Alcalá
Divers enter from the harbour by ladder or giant stride and follow a sandy corridor out of the bay. The route passes two volcanic reefs with caverns, overhangs and narrow canyons. Octopus, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, crabs and snake eels are typical finds, and rays and turtles are possible. A longer route reaches the remains of a car and the crow's nest of an old vessel. The easy entry makes it a favourite for night dives, when sea hares and octopus are active.
