Grand Caille
Also known as: Grande Caille · The Big House
The name is usually translated from Patois as great house, and the site was once known as home to big fish. Fishing has reduced them, but the topography remains impressive, with huge boulders, brain corals and barrel sponges in the shallows and a wall of deep-water gorgonians and sea whips below. Dives often start on a terrace, follow the lip of the wall and finally climb back over it into the shallows where Fairyland dives often end. A large barracuda sometimes comes to inspect divers.
