Caticugan Marine Sanctuary
Also known as: Caticugan Sanctuary
Dive Point Siquijor considers Caticugan Marine Sanctuary probably the best protected marine area of the island. Divers walk in and swim on the surface to a descent point at 3 to 5 m. A slope of sand and big coral formations follows, with artificial structures and coral planting spots in the shallows. Turtles, chevron barracuda, snappers, triggerfish and longfin batfish are among the common sightings.
