West View

West View is at kilometre 11 on the west side of San Andrés. A rocky area at about 9 m holds an underwater sculpture of Poseidon. The shore forms a small vertical wall with little caverns, most of which are described as safe to enter. The water is usually calm with wide visibility, and parrotfish and butterflyfish are seen. It is dived from the shore or by boat, suits all divers and is also used for night dives and snorkelling.
