Manta's City

Also known as: Mantas City

Circular reef patches stand on sand in clear blue water. Large star coral colonies, soft corals and sponges make up the patches. The big stingrays seen here, often taken for manta rays, gave the site its name. Schools of snapper and surgeonfish swim around the corals, and to the east a sandy slope is dotted with dozens of sea stars. Felipe Diving Center says it can also be snorkelled, and Travel & Diving lists it as a beginner site.
