El Planchón

The ship sank during the Second World War and now rests upside down on the seabed without signs of break-up. Parts of the winch system, pipework and even washbasins can still be seen. Soft corals grow on top of the hull, where basket stars curl into tight balls. Around the wreck a coral reef holds parrotfish, angelfish, moray eels and lobsters, with grey reef sharks at times. Travel & Diving describes it as a large wreck where sharks, morays and barracudas are regulars.
