Sec Jaune
Sec Jaune is a high shoal with rugged relief off Pointe au Sel, south of Saint-Leu. It offers the richest fauna and flora of the area, including heads of fire coral in shades of yellow and orange. Divers with less experience follow a small drop-off bordered by white sand near the coast, where butterflyfish and anthias swarm. Further out, at the foot of the wall, caves and arches await. Leaf fish, lobsters, fusiliers and frogfish hidden on sponges reward a careful look.
