Les Roches Merveilleuses
Also known as: Roches Merveilleuses
Les Roches Merveilleuses is a deep site off Saint-Gilles-les-Bains reserved for experienced divers. Large sea fans decorate a broad area of rock cut by arches, faults and small canyons. In its second part a six-metre anchor lies on its side. Snappers, lionfish and stingrays live on the site, and tuna, rays or even marlin pass in the blue. Currents can be moderate to strong, so the site is dived as a drift.
