Pulau Ling

The islet has no beach, but underwater it holds two giant Porites coral heads thought to be several centuries old; the larger measures about 24.5 m around its base. Caves at the foot of the heads shelter angelfish, moorish idols and cardinalfish, and bright orange daisy corals cover the overhangs. The heads can be explored in fairly shallow water between 10 and 20 m. On the north side there is staghorn coral with anemones and small wrasses. Because many boats now pass the area, divers visit less often than in the past.
