Pulau Lima South

Also known as: Pulau Lima, Southern Tip

Off the southern tip of Pulau Lima lies a group of big boulders overgrown with hard and soft corals, anemones and other invertebrates. Small caves and grottos at their foot are used as hiding places by shyer reef fish. Along the eastern side the reef forms coral-covered walls to about 13 m and then slopes on to around 30 m, where sea fans and whip corals grow. Giant morays, titan triggerfish, lionfish, puffers and blacktip reef sharks are among the sightings, and colourful nudibranchs live on the boulders.
