Targa Gonzatti
Also known as: Gonzatti Plaque
The plaque that gave the site its name was fixed to the cliff above the water, and according to Diving Group Portofino it was swept away by the 2018 storm. Below the mooring a slope of irregular boulders shelters seabream, salema and big dentex and groupers. To the west the bottom drops gently to about 32 m, where silty ground is scattered with boulders full of moray eels, octopus, forkbeards and lobsters. A wide passage at about 30 to 36 m has a ceiling covered in yellow cup corals. The shallow route can be followed east as far as the mooring of the neighbouring Scoglio del Raviolo.
