Hope Point
Kelp-covered, encrusted reef in the shallows gives way to steep walls for trained deep divers. Packhorse crayfish, pink and blue maomao, snapper, moray and conger eels, nudibranchs and sea stars are typical. In the shallows lies a small air-bubble cave that divers often visit during their decompression stop. Seafriends recalls that early divers followed the ridge here to 50 m to see spotted black groupers.
