Maldives Victory Wreck
Also known as: Maldives Victory · MV Maldives Victory · Maldive Victory
A buoy line leads from the surface to the mast and the main deck at about 12 m, and the hull rests on sand at about 35 to 37 m. Divers usually work along the deck, look into the holds and the wheelhouse and return along the outer hull, where corals, sponges and hydroids have taken over the steel. Groupers, batfish, trevallies, lionfish, schools of fusiliers and resting turtles are typical, and nudibranchs and pipefish live on the hull. Parts of the cargo meant for the resorts, such as radios and bottles, can still be seen in the holds. Because the current in the channel can be very strong, several guides reserve it for advanced or experienced divers.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
