HP Reef
Also known as: Girifushi Thila · Rainbow Reef · Thamburudhoo Thila
The shallowest part of the thila lies at about 10 to 12 m. One side is lined with outcrops, caves and crevices, while across a narrow sand channel a large rock holds a swim-through from about 27 m up to 15 m, and a cave with a chimney rises from about 25 m to 10 m. Yellow, pink, blue and orange soft corals, black corals and gorgonian fans cover the reef, fed by the current running through the channel. Bigeye trevally, jacks, rainbow runners, barracuda and tuna school here, joined by grey reef sharks and eagle rays. A red flag flying on shore means rifle practice at a nearby army camp, and the site cannot be dived then.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
