Copper Roof House

Copper Roof House is named after the green copper roof of the Clinton Walker House, a landmark for divers looking for the small public beach to the north. Divers follow sandy channels out to a rocky reef with several high spots that come close to the surface, surrounded by kelp beds. The beach faces the swell, so the surf zone can be tricky and entries are usually made at the southern end near the rocks. Free parking and several stairs give access, and restrooms are nearby. Pacific Scuba Divers recommends that beginners dive it only with more experienced buddies.
