Chase Reef
Chase Reef lies off the Pacific Grove coast between Lovers Point and Point Pinos, with Eric's Pinnacle as its inner neighbour and Aumentos Reef just beyond. Its terrain of canyons and ridges carries a wide diversity of marine life. Shore divers reach it from Coral Street or Otter Cove after a very long surface swim, while Pacific Scuba Divers recommends boat access. The area has heavy boat traffic, currents and little protection from swell and surge.
