Tiboulen de Maïre

The Tiboulen de Maïre is a rock just west of Maïre island, and its cove offers shelter when a strong east wind closes most sites. Boats come along the coast from Marseille to take refuge here. Beginners dive inside the cove, where the bottom is modest, while very experienced divers leave it to reach the tunnel and faults nearby. The surge can be strong, so air and orientation need care.
