Les Fromages
Les Fromages runs north to south along the cliff of Maïre island, close to the Pharillons. The name comes from the many blocks full of holes, like Swiss cheese. The wall slopes down towards the Pharillons to about 35 m, so divers turn back according to their certification. On Mistral days the site is well protected and busy, and spiny lobsters, octopus and sometimes a school of John Dory can be met.
