Marsa Nakari House Reef

Also known as: Marsa Nakari

Schools of Indian mackerel swim open-mouthed through the bay, and a large pinnacle in the middle is home to glassfish and acts as a cleaning station. On the north side a wide anemone city lies at about 12 m, while the south side has canyons and pillars sheltering lionfish and groupers. Beyond the corners the fringing reef offers coral gardens and a drop-off where pelagics and sometimes dolphins pass. The sandy bottom rewards searching for small unusual creatures, and nudibranchs are common on the reef.
