Marsa Tondoba

The two pipes supply a desalination plant for a nearby gold mine and have become home to pixie hawkfish, damselfish, nudibranchs, flatworms, velvetfish, shrimps and many juveniles. Seagrass beds on each side of the pipes draw turtles and rays, and a dugong is seen with luck. Outside the bay four healthy coral patches lie in shallow water. Reef Oasis presents it as an easy site with gentle currents for all levels.
