Delimara Point

Following a step in the bottom away from the shore leads to a drop-off full of cracks and crevices. The drop known as Hell's Edge (Xifer l-Infern) has huge algae-covered boulders, with dentex, moray eels, red soft coral, parrotfish and chromis further out. The site is only diveable in near-perfect weather and sees a lot of boat traffic, so a surface marker buoy is essential. Old fishing lines and nets mean divers should carry a knife.
