Les Jardins de Salomon

The dive begins in a garden of gorgonians and multicoloured sponges just off the point of the cape. From there the reef descends in a series of plateaus to around 25 m, each with its own mix of life, and ends on a well-encrusted rocky wall. Triggerfish, parrotfish, porgies, king mackerel and both green and hawksbill turtles are regular. Jawfish living in burrows in the rubble are a feature of the site, and spotted eagle rays sometimes pass. The gardens continue from the Piscine and Cap Salomon and can be reached on a drift.
