La Paudèze
Also known as: Paudex
A shore dive beside the mouth of the Paudèze river between Pully and Paudex, known for a clay cliff riddled with burbot holes. Statues placed on the cliff and lively night dives add to its appeal.
Divers enter from a small beach left of the river mouth, swim out on the surface and descend to about 30 m before turning west towards the clay cliff. Burbot dig holes into the soft clay and hide there, so the face is dotted with them. A frog, an owl and a Donald Duck figure have been placed on the cliff, and Le Scaph mentions two statues at about 50 m. At night large pike, carp and tench are often met. The dive ends with a slow ascent up the slope to the shore.
