Switzerland has always had something special for everyone, whether it is the recreated Masoala Rainforest (billed as the only one in Europe) or shopping in Zurich, the finance capital of the earth. Not only is it child friendly, but it is safer than any place in Europe with almost zero crime rate. Offering incredible mountain panorama and stunning Alpine resorts, it is effortless to realize why Switzerland is a top tourist destination. The Swiss landscape, lakes and mountains are gorgeous any time of year, from snow-capped mountain peaks and ice-skating on lakes to climbing through green fields or celebrating the top Swiss festivals, Swiss carnival or national Swiss holidays.
Diving in Switzerland
You won’t get salty seas in Switzerland, obviously, but the alpine lakes and rivers here make for distinctive and magical scuba diving. Lake Geneva has a range of dives to discover. Wall dives and weird freshwater panorama can be perused under the surface. Another is Lake Zurich, where you can head to superb scuba spots right from the seashore. The lake is peacefully set, with lofty mountains surging upward from the lakeshore. Glacially fed, the lake has magnificent visibility. River divers will be blown away by the Verzasca, an incredibly clear river found just south of the Alps close to the border of Italy.
