Château de Chillon

Below the castle walls the slope gives way to a cliff whose top lies at about 12 to 16 m, and Plongee.ch gives a maximum depth of 65 m. Teamdive descends straight south to about 35 m and then looks for the char spawning grounds before ascending along the slope. Le Scaph describes a rocky drop-off on the right-hand side where arctic char are often met in November and December. Because of the spawning, diving on the grounds is banned every year from 15 November to 31 January.
