Amuro Fish Reef

Also known as: Amurogyosho · Amrofish Reef · 安室漁礁 (Japanese)

Concrete blocks placed as a fish reef are now overgrown with jeweled finger coral and surrounded by reef fish. Marine Diving web says more than 100 kinds of fish can be seen, and schools of batfish and barracuda often hang in mid-water above the blocks. Mandarinfish hide among the coral around the reef, and divingpoint.net says the site is often used for night dives. Visit Okinawa asks divers to keep neutral buoyancy so that they do not bump into the coral.
