Nishibama
Also known as: Nishibama Beach · Kitahama Beach · ニシ浜 (Japanese)
Boats moor at numbered buoys along the east side of Aka Island, and Marine Diving web explains that the dive sites No. 1, 2 and 3 are named after them. Rocks rise from a wide sandy area and are covered with corals where thousands of cardinalfish and blue-green damselfish gather. Anthias, groupers and garden eels add to the variety, and rare small creatures are often found. Snorkellers enter from the beach, while divers go out to about 26 m. Visit Okinawa notes that diving here is regulated to protect the coral community.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
