Cap Matoopa

Also known as: Kap Matoupa

Cap Matoopa marks one of the western tips of the Baie Ternay Marine Park. Large granite boulders form gullies and swim-throughs, and steep walls fall to a sandy bottom. Hard and soft corals shelter reef fish, while barracuda, jacks and other pelagic fish pass along the edge. Atoll Divers says Napoleon wrasse are frequently seen here.
