Cacaluta Coral Garden
The coral plate covers the north side of Cacaluta Island and lies in clear water far from the Copalita river mouth. Its shallow top at around 2 m is good for snorkellers, while divers follow it down to about 12 m. Dive masters describe it as a great beginner dive and a chance to see living coral. Sea turtles and seahorses are frequent visitors. Cacaluta Bay is a protected zone of the national park and is included among its authorised diving zones.
