Butterfly Valley
Butterfly Valley is as striking underwater as it is from the land. Boats drop divers at the opening of the bay, from where they descend a sheer face and follow the wall along the cliffs towards the beach, where the boat waits. The bottom drops away steeply in places, so depth needs watching. Big shoals of triggerfish, damselfish and white bream are typical, and divers report rays, parrotfish, squid and an intact amphora. Scubago notes that the valley is a protected area.
