Havda

Also known as: SS Havda · D/S Havda · S/S Havda

Havda was on her way from Måløy to Bergen with passengers when British aircraft attacked her, and six people on board died, so the wreck is treated as a war grave. The hull is still fairly intact and offers some easy openings, though Dykkepedia warns that many plates are corroding. Inside and around the wreck divers can still find fittings such as the ship's toilet. The shallow depth allows long bottom times, but the site is exposed and the kelp-covered seabed can make the shot line hard to find. Gulen Dive Resort tells the full story of the attack in its briefing before the dive.
