Xatt l-Aħmar
Also known as: Xatt l-Ahmar · Red Bay · Xatt l-Ahmar Reef
Divers kit up at a car park above the shore and enter by a giant stride, with two ladders for the exit. The plateau and wall are an easy dive in their own right and are sheltered from the prevailing north-westerly winds. They also serve as the shallow part of the wreck dives to the Karwela, Cominoland and Xlendi, where divers make long safety stops. Eels, scorpionfish, cuttlefish and octopus are found among the boulders and seagrass.
