Wied ir-Raħeb

Also known as: Wied ir-Raheb · Wied ir-Raheb - House Cave

The name means the Sacristan's Valley, after the gorge that ends in the cliff about 25 m above the water. Massive boulders dominate the dive, although fish are fewer than one might expect. The first and third caves are open to the surface, about 15 m and 25 m deep, with walls covered in sponges and calcified coral. The House Cave has a cleanly cut entrance and a round window above it, and a dark chimney at its back leads up to a small air pocket.
