Submarine Net Barrier
Also known as: Submarine Mania Network · Submarine Prevention Steel Nets · Submarine Obstacle Network
The anti-submarine nets were made at the Golden Horn shipyard in Istanbul with a square 4 by 4 mesh. Twenty-five nets, each 60 m long and 30 m deep, were installed in June and July between Akbaş Bay and Nara Point and between Bigalı Castle and Nara Point. One of these nets has been located in Akbaş Bay and is now open to divers. It offers a rare look at the defences that caught submarines in the narrows during the campaign.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
