Train Wheel Wreck

Also known as: Train Car wreck

Pirates Cove describes a ship carrying train wheels that sank on the reef, and Wannadive adds that a tug and barge went aground and spilled track and wheels. Today the wheels and pieces of wreckage are the main features, at around 20 to 30 feet. Big stands of elkhorn coral shelter schools of goatfish, snapper and porkfish, and colourful reef fish are plentiful. It is often combined with the other shallow wrecks of Elbow Reef.
