Scoglio del Cammello
The rock rises from a shallow ledge at around 6 m and drops almost vertically to a sandy plain at about 18 m. Its walls are covered with yellow encrusting anemones, orange sponges, false coral and tube worms. At about 12 m a tunnel roughly ten metres long crosses the rock and plays with the light, and a short distance away a single-entrance cave is home to shrimps and cardinalfish. Octopus and small red scorpionfish hide in the cracks near the surface. Local guides rate it as suitable for every level and also recommend it as a night dive.
