Barracuda Point

Also known as: Punt'i Piku

Barracuda Point, locally Punt'i Piku, lies just across the channel from Barbara Beach. Dense hard corals, big boulder corals and gorgonians cover the reef, which slopes to about 15 m before it drops more steeply. Turtles, barracudas and schools of horse-eye jacks are typical sightings. With a current it is often dived as a drift towards Small Wall or Director's Bay, and wide-angle photographers like its coral fields.
