Nestor Wreck

Also known as: Tugboat Nestor · Shipwreck Nestor

Nestor is one of the newest wrecks of the Chania Diving Park, scuttled in sheltered water as an artificial reef. The compact hull is largely intact and easy to explore from the outside, with the wheelhouse, deck machinery and propeller to look at. Although the wreck is young, schools of fish and small Mediterranean life have already started to settle on it, so it changes from one visit to the next. Calm conditions, little current and good visibility make it suitable for a first wreck dive.
