Pointe Carangue
Also known as: Pointe Carrangue · La Pointe aux Carangues · La Pointe Carangues
Pointe Carangue starts on a plateau covered with gorgonians and sponges that slopes gently from around 8 to 12 m down to about 20 to 22 m. Beyond it a wall falls away to around 40 m. Small cavities in the encrusted slope shelter spiny lobsters, slipper lobsters, porcupinefish and moray eels. Groupers, boxfish, trumpetfish and turtles are also named by the dive centres, which open the site to divers from Level 1 or Open Water.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
