Pointe du Vaisseau
The park suggests descending the mooring line to about 24 m, swimming along the edge of the Posidonia meadow to the great bar and following it south to the foot of the wall before returning along the ridges on top. The coralligenous wall is rich in colour, with the green calcareous alga Halimeda at its base. Lavandou Plongée asks divers not to come too close to protect it. Groupers, moray eels, scorpionfish, octopus and nudibranchs are typical, and Saint P'Hyères Plongée finds much less current here than at the Gabinière, with shelter from the mistral.
