Le Grec
Also known as: Sagona
Built in 1912 by British yards, the Sagona was carrying barrels of wine when she sank, only weeks after the nearby Donator. The explosion cut the ship in two and the pieces lie well apart, the stern being the best preserved part. Divers usually start at the propeller at about 47 m, then pass the poop, the open hatch to the empty hold, the large winch, the cabins and the passageways around 35 m, which are covered in gorgonians. Strong currents are frequent, so the dive is reserved for experienced divers.
