MFV Princess Elizabeth

Also known as: Princess Elizabeth

After a serious fire the trawler was donated by Irvin and Johnson to the False Bay Conservation Society and sunk next to the Orotava. It is the smaller of the two trawlers. The five Smitswinkel Bay wrecks were sunk on purpose to create an artificial reef and lie close together, so in good visibility several can be seen on one dive. Soft corals, sponges, sea fans and anemones grow on the hull. Its depth limits it to advanced divers.
