Star Gerren Wreck

Smaller and newer than the nearby Antilla, the Star Gerren is sometimes called the Cinderella of Aruba's wrecks because few divers visit her. She did not settle upright as intended, and her large propeller is a favourite photo subject. Holes were cut into the hull before sinking so that divers can enter and leave safely. Sand surrounds the wreck, where stingrays rest, while grunts, barracuda and French angelfish gather around the hull.
