Harbour Reef

Also known as: Harbor Reef · Harbour Reef / Pilot Boat · Harbor Reef / Tugboat

The slope began as a dumping ground for sand dredged from the harbour and is now covered in soft corals, sea fans, sponges and patches of hard coral. It descends gradually from the shallows to about 30 m, which suits beginners and photographers alike. The small tugboat, sunk in the 1980s, sits around 25 to 30 m and is home to two large green morays. Spotted eagle rays and stingrays pass by at times, and JADS runs the site as a drift dive.
