Jane Sea Wreck
Also known as: Jane Sea · Jane C
The freighter came to Aruba with cement and ended her career at Barcadera Harbour; stories differ on whether a cocaine find or unpaid crews and harbour fees led to her being abandoned. Dive operators then had her sunk on 4 September 1988. She sits upright on sand ringed by reef, so she seems to appear suddenly out of the blue, and her bow is covered in sponges and corals. Great barracuda and clouds of silversides often gather at the stern. Currents here can be strong, and JADS runs it as a drift dive, often combined with Barcadera Reef. Some interior walls have collapsed, and JADS no longer allows penetration.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
